Stay Connected – 12th May 2025

Greetings!

What a weekend we’ve had at The Rectory! On Friday night, Helen’s eldest and her partner arrived from the UK. Saturday was spent turning the hall into an Indian restaurant, and Saturday night we held Helen’s 50th Birthday Party. Then, on Sunday, we celebrated the third Sunday of Easter in style with his Excellency, Andrew Murdoch, the Governor of Bermuda reading our Bible reading at our Contemporary worship. We had over 80 people worshipping with us across our two Sunday gatherings, and it’s great that St. Mark’s is still thriving.

This week, the theme was ‘Throne’ in which I explored the question, ‘In what way was John’s revelation radical?’ You can read, watch, or listen to my Sunday message online at anglican.bm here:

btw: Did you know that I have been posting a daily prayer to the front page of anglican.bm? Go check it out!

Next Sunday is our AGM, and this will take place at 11am in the Parish Hall after refreshments. This is an opportunity for all signed-up members of our church to ask questions, as we report back on the previous year. You can read the submitted reports online here (and there are paper copies in the church porch):

I hope and pray you have a blessed week. Heaps of Peace.
