New Year Joint Celebration at Holy Trinity

Friends – greetings!

There is no worship at St. Mark’s this coming Sunday, however, you are warmly invited to our Nearly New Year worship, for the three East End parishes, at 10am this Sunday 29th December, at Holy Trinity Church in Bailey’s Bay.

The theme of the worship, befitting the season, is look back to the past with thanks to God, and to look forward to the future with confidence in his providence.

There will be hymns, readings, and prayers that take us through the centuries up to the present day. Members of our four congregations, from the Chapel of Ease and St Peter’s, St Mark’s and Holy Trinity, will join in leading the worship from the choir-stalls and lectern.

There will be special acknowledgement of Canon Anne Hines, for 27 years administrator in the church office at Holy Trinity, for her admirable service in that role.

After the worship everyone is welcome to gather to in the church hall, to renew old acquaintance and make future friends over refreshments.

Looking forward to seeing you – and Happy New Year, when it comes!
